What is Fitness Pilates?

Fitness Pilates gives you an intelligent approach to exercise which can benefit all levels of fitness. By doing regular Fitness Pilates many factors can be improved from posture correction to core and pelvic floor muscle strengthening. You may become more aware of your body and how it can function better. Many exercises involved can be placed into your normal daily pattern, for example when sitting at your desk or brushing your teeth. Fitness Pilates also allows you to become more toned, more flexible and calmer in body and mind.

The Fitness Pilates techniques come from Joseph Pilates, who introduced this form of exercise from his keen interest in different sports. This form of exercise became very popular for the New York City Ballet School in the 1900s, as the dancers felt it helped their overall performance. Pilates has proved to be a great success and carries on its popular techniques, and has become a new modern trend in the fitness industry today.

Beginners

If you have never done Pilates before you can still come into the intermediate classes but if you would like to get a bit of guidance before you start please look at the following options to see what suits you.

1 hour Basic Fitness Pilates session for Beginners. Only £15 per person

This gives you the chance to learn the basic techniques involved with Fitness Pilates. Booking required. Numbers are limited.

Next Basic Fitness Pilates dates: Friday 20th January at 6.30pm in Chorlton

1-1 Sessions:

Personal Session £30.00 for 1 session or £60.00 for 3 sessions

Personal Session (you and a friend) £40.00 for 1 sessions or £90.00 for 3 sessions

Personal sessions will give you the opportunity to learn Fitness Pilates in your own time. This will be convenient for those who have special requirements, feel self conscious about being in a group, are older or haven’t exercised in a long time.

Each session lasts one hour.

Intermediate Classes

Intermediate classes cost £20.00 for a 4 week block Or pay as you go for £7.00 a class

Classes last for 55 minutes.

Monday 6.00pm in our Chorlton location

Tuesday and Thursday 6.30pm in our City Centre location

Tuesday 12.00-12.45pm and Thursday at 5.10pm in our Spinningfields location

Corporate Class

Fitness Pilates in the Work Place £50.00 per hour or £160.00 for 4 week block

We offer group Fitness Pilates classes of up to 15 people. An instructor can come to you at work working around your company’s needs and size. Please check out our Corporate page or get in touch for more information.
